During the PowerMEMS 2010 conference there will be four social events:

• The welcome reception on Tuesday, November 30th.
• A visit to the Stella Artois brewery in Leuven on Wednesday December 1st.
• The guided tour towards the conference diner on Thursday, December 2nd.
• The Conference dinner on Thursday December 2nd.

Welcome reception

The welcome reception will take place at the conference venue on Tuesday, November 30th and starts at 19:00.

Brewery visit

This social event starts on December 1st at 18:30

The Stella Artois brewery visit takes you from the brewing hall, through fermentation to the filling lines. After the tour, which takes about an hour, you’re welcome to taste a couple of perfectly drafted pints of beer.

You can register for this event during the conference. (number of registrations is limited to 90 persons)

Guided tour towards conference dinner

The guided tour leaves on Thursday, December 2nd 18:15.

The dinner location is at walking distance from the conference venue at the University Hall. Join the guided tour, which will bring you to some of the historic highlights of Leuven.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will take place in the Faculty Club (Address: Groot Begijnhof 14) on Thursday, December 2nd and starts at 19:15. This conference dinner is open only for participants who have registered for this event.
